Darkpaw

NAME: Darkkit, Darkpaw, Darkfire
AGE: 6 moons
GENDER: She-cat
CLAN: WindClan
RANK: Apprentice
- - -
DESCRIPTION:
Darkpaw is a complex creature in her body structure, just as she is in her personality. She looks like the distinct physical appearance of her breed, but slight variations hint at some gene inheritance of another breed as well. Her body is long, but her chest isn't quite as broad. Darkpaw also doesn't have a solid, muscular build, but she's a fairly tall cat. Her body still continues to have that rectangular-shaped body like a normal Maine Coon. Despite her lack of a large-boned body, her long fur still manages to give her a slightly threateningly large look. Born purely WindClan, her legs are long and powerful, perfect for running. Although they look short under her thick coat, Darkpaw has the true legs of a WindClan cat.
Darkpaw's fur is obviously the trait that others recognize her by. A long-haired Maine Coon, she's quite fluffy. Her black-and-silver fur coloring gives her an edgy, mysterious look. Smoky grey and misty black is quite the combination, and although she doesn't show it, Darkpaw's fur is her pride and joy. Making sure to keep it groomed frequently, her fur is actually coarse, protecting her from the fierce gusts of wind over the exposed moorland. From her bushy tail to her tufted ears, Darkpaw is a lot of fur.
Darkpaw's eyes are extremely abnormal, only enhancing her strange, intimidating appearance. They're a bright red, hauntingly beautiful in some way or another. Her eyes are probably the main reason as to why she's avoided so much, being what some cats might call a "freak of nature". But as far as being horrifyingly creepy, Darkpaw can't really say whether she likes the fear she strikes into others or not.
Overall, Darkpaw truly doesn't seem the type you'd be comfortable approaching. Honestly, she does look a little weird, what with her stunning red eyes. If anything, Darkpaw looks like a demon. Whether her personality reflects this would require you to grow close to this mysterious she-cat. Is the risk worth the reward? One can only guess.

PERSONALITY:
If you took the time to get to know Direpaw, you'd find she's quite a complicated cat. Ever-changing like the winds that blow over her home, Direpaw is uncontrollable. We'll manage to understand her personality better if we break it down into parts, so we'll turn this into a three-part description.First Impression
Darkpaw has the unfortunate resemblance to a creepy outsider. Or, at least, most cats treat her like she does. Avoided simply because of her outward appearance, nobody really makes an effort to try and get to know her better. Since she's not the type to willingly open up to others, you'll have to allow her to gain your trust first. Darkpaw often acts quiet, anti-social, and mysterious. This may make her seem silently threatening. Dark and cold on the outside, she's a bit intimidating. When she does talk, it's usually brief and to the point, leaving no room for nonsense. In the chance that she does begin to talk longer, she's cautiously on guard, a bit unwilling to open up to others.Beneath the Surface
It may or it may not surprise you that Darkpaw is a determined, brave she-cat. Although she may seem shady, Darkpaw is actually fairly calm and gentle. At this stage, you might see Darkpaw as an honorable, Darkpaw usually tries to use her long claws and fangs and red eyes to get what she wants. It isn't rare that Darkpaw uses what scares her own Clanmates to her own advantage. At this stage, Darkpaw has grown a little more trusting of the cat who managed to open her up this far. She'll sometimes seek out this cat for companionship but never really confides in them greatly.Digging Deeper
At this point, Darkpaw must have seen something in you that she likes and trusts. By now you're somewhat of a friend, but it is also around this time you truly get to know Darkpaw. Whatever she seems on the outside, whatever she acts or talks like, it doesn't matter. Once you move into Direpaw's inner circle of trust, you'll start to notice gradual changes. You'll be revealed to a whole different side of Darkpaw. What is this different side? Well, you'll just have to find out, won't you?

HISTORY: Darkpaw's life tells no tales of tragedy; you'll find no sob stories here. Darkpaw's parents, Ravenstep and Cloudfoot, were a happy couple. There was no hatred there, only a love that overcame all, even their little, insignificant disagreements. Darkpaw was born as an only kit to these two mates, and they couldn't be happier with the new addition to their little family. But once she opened her eyes, however, her parents were shocked to find them a startling bright red. Yet even her unusual, demonic-colored eyes could not break the strong bond her little family had built themselves upon. Darkpaw had a normal kithood-- cute innocence while getting into trouble every now and then. Finally, when she was old enough, she became an apprentice, much to the pride and pleasure of her adoring, loving parents.
