GREENFLOWER
- - -
NAME: Greenflower
AGE: Twenty-two moons
GENDER: She-cat
CLAN: RiverClan
RANK: Warrior
- - -
DESCRIPTION:
At first it seems that Greenflower is built to be a WIndClan cat. Her long and skinny body would be perfect for chasing rabbits. Yet, Greenflower is a clumsy runner and like most RiverClan cats, she prefers to swim. Her powerful back legs give her the ability to tread water. Her legs are also quite long and are not proportionate with the rest of her body. Overall, Greenflower still holds the appearance of an apprentice.
Greenflower is most noticeably a tortoiseshell. Her pelt is an array of blacks, whites, and gingers, a trait she had gained from her mother. The most noticeable part of her fur is that half of her face is black while the other is ginger. She is very self-conscious of this and hates when cats comment on it. Greenflower also has very short fur. When wet, it dries quickly and takes a serious amount of mud to get it dirty but during leafbare, it is a pain. It does not grow well during the colder months and she is left shivering for most of leafbare.
Among the mottled colors, her green eyes are easily noticeable. They are her trademark and where she gets her name. Despite her clumsy figure, the advantage that Greenflower is that she has exceptional eyesight.

PERSONALITY:
[HEADSTRONG]- Once Greenflower has made a decision, good luck changing her mind. She is impossible to sway and will stand next to her opinion, even at the cost of her life. Greenflower also refuses to give into another cat’s opinion; she will not follow a cat just because the others are.
[FIERY]- Greenflower has the temper of a badger and the spirit of LionClan. She is not easily put down and will instead keep going forward until she reaches her goal. This does become a problem though when mixed with her bull-headed nature. She easily gets into fights and rarely do they remain verbal.
[SERIOUS]- Friends, sharing tongues, play fighting; it is all a waste of time. She would rather be working than screwing around with the other warriors. Jokes and sarcasm can slip by her and she takes most things literally. If you get a smile or laugh out of her, count that as a miracle.
[AGGRESSIVE]- Greenflower is not afraid to get physical. Her claws are constantly unsheathed when arguing, always ready to be used. While she knows better than to get into physical fights with most cats, when she gets the chance, she will start something. Greenflower is known to fight with her clanmates.
[LOYAL]- Despite her flaws, Greenflower is loyal to her clan and proud to be a RiverClan cat. She would never turn her back on her clanmates, to betray her clan is to betray herself. She also takes the Warriors Code seriously and tries to follow it to the best of her abilities. Sometimes that isn’t enough though.
[INTELLIGENT]- This comes from Greenflower being very observant. She notices things and can put small clues together in her head quickly. She can memorize battle strategies and tactics with ease and learn hunting techniques after a while. This does hinder her at times; she has a hard time connecting to other cats and does not realize that there is more beneath the surface.
[HARDWORKING]- Greenflower is constantly on the move, she doesn’t seem to understand the concept of a break. She wants to be hunting or practicing her fighting moves or patrolling the border. She doesn’t have an interest in sharing tongues or spending time with her clanmates.

HISTORY:
Spottedstone and Ravenwing had been inseparable since kithood. Raised together in the Nursery, these two had been best friends since. Through apprenticeship, the two had often spoken of being mates once they received their warrior names. Spottedstone was a happy little she-cat; nothing seemed to ever bother her. Ravenwing was a little more pessimistic about the situation of the clans but he never showed her his concern. For her he always smiled.
There was a point after receiving their warrior names that something was wrong with Ravenwing. He became restless, he snapped at his clanmates, and would leave camp for days at a time. Spottedstone, pregnant at the time, was told to not worry but she did. What was becoming of her mate? It was soon after that Ravenwing left.
The black tom no longer wanted to be a part of clan life. He admitted this to his mate and said he was going to leave the clan. While Spottedstone was not going to join him, she supported Ravenwing and any decisions he made. She understood that clanlife may not be for every cat, such as her mate. That night would be the last time Spottedstone would see Ravenwing.
Not long after, her kit was born. It was only Greenkit but that didn’t seem to bother Spottedstone. To most cats, she seemed just happy enough to have a daughter. Almost immediately after opening her eyes though, Spottedstone could tell that something wasn’t right with Greenkit.
She was intelligent and had no problems keeping up with the other kits in the Nursery. It was the fact that she had little interest in the other kits that worried Spottedstone. The often cold and condescending attitude of Greenpaw made it seem that the little she-cat would never make a friend.
Then, there was Stormpaw. The tabby tom was a moon older than Greenpaw and almost as stubborn and driven. Their relationship was never exactly friendship but rather a rivalry. It was a constant battle to see who was the best, whether it was in hunting or fighting or swimming. The two were in never ending competition against the other.
From afar, Stormpaw and Greenpaw had looked like enemies. There were constantly claw marks on their pelts from the other. They would come back half-drowned from splashing around in the river. There were few days that these two did not erupt into a rather loud and violent argument. What cats didn’t seem was the genuine care the two had for one another. There were times that Greenpaw admitted that she wouldn’t know what she would do without him.
She soon had to learn how.
It was a nice springleaf day at the river when Stormpaw fell in. Due to the swelling of the river, the two apprentices had been told to be careful but their current argument made them careless. The strong current pulled Stormpaw in and without a second thought, Greenpaw had gone in after him. Neither of the apprentices was strong enough to navigate the currents.
Greenflower still remembers the time when she was dragged out. There had been a warrior shouting at her but all she could think about was Stormpaw and his head disappearing under the water. Why had this cat saved her and not Stormpaw?
Since that traumatic event, Greenflower has earned her warrior name but still feels a hole that Stormpaw left. Most cats had not expected the tortoiseshell to be so severely affected but then again, no cat saw their true relationship.
